Next steps for participants in the trial

We are pleased to have received almost 60 Expressions of Interest from prospective participants in the Trial – we are no longer accepting further entries.

The Trial’s technical team now has its work cut out to complete their activities by the end of April, ahead of submitting the report to the Australian government before the end of June.

Many participants have already had introductory meetings with the technical team, lead by Drew Hammond of KJR.  The team is working their way through this list and will be in contact with all applicants in due course.

The next step is for participants to complete a Practice Statement, which can be done on our website here.  The Project Director, Tony Allen, recorded a training session on how to complete this statement which you can watch back here.

Participants will soon be asked to sign the Participation Agreement which we published in draft here. A few minor comments will be considered and if accepted, added to a redline version to be sent next week alongside the clean version for signature so participants can review any changes easily.  We will also provide copies of our privacy policy to which the Participation Agreement will now refer for completeness, given its importance to the trial process.

[Please note: once the Participation Agreement is signed, participants are committed to the Trial, and we must report our results relating to the method(s); equally we cannot start any testing before we have received a signed copy of the agreement.]

Participants will next be contacted to schedule a Vendor Interview, which is the remainder of the audit process outside the technical test.

If you have any questions on the Trial, please make use of the Contact Us form.
