We are ensuring that we use a representative sample of the Australian population across multiple dimensions. Will the results of the trial impact the new Social Media law?
Some methods may be suitable for testing using members of the public. We will work with specialist third-party companies to find a representative sample of the Australian population who will be asked to use various methods of age assurance, to both test their performance and to provide feedback on the user experience.
We are not recruiting volunteers directly.
We aim to engage with all age assurance providers, digital and social media platforms, websites, and other organisations (where practicable) that have expressed an interest in participating in the trial.
The public are welcome to sign up for a regular newsletter. The contact us form on the website can be used to share suggestions and ask questions. We will aim to respond to everyone who contacts us promptly.
